Just a reminder why it is a holiday on the 7th of November here in the Philippines.
MANILA, Philippines - Malacañang has declared November 7, Monday, as regular holiday in observation of the Muslim celebration of Eid'l Adha.
The Palace issued Proclamation No. 276 making Eid'l Adha, an important religious holiday celebrated by
Muslims around the world, a regular holiday throughout the country.
This means Filipinos will have two long weekends in November. October 31 (Monday) and November 1 (Tuesday) are already special non-working holidays.
Earlier, the Palace issued a proclamation making October 31 a special non-working holiday to give Filipinos a chance to honor their dead for All Soul's Day. November 1 is already a special non-working holiday.
