Despite the Flood CDO is still flocking the Markets

Bagyong Sendong just rocked the city of Cagayan de Oro City. But there is no stopping the Kagay-anons from flocking the markets.

In Cogon Market, the streets are swarming with people buying different goods for varying reasons. Some maybe for their Noche Buena, a meal on Christmas Eve. Others are buying supplies to replenish their things which were carried by the flood.

MSCONFIG not found in Run Dialog Box (Windows XP)

I recently tried to type ‘msconfig’ into the ‘Run’ dialogue box from the Start menu and received a message that msconfig could not be found. I did the usual trawl of the internet and my brain started to implode as the tecchies discussed the inner working of my computer which gave me a headache rather than solve the problem.

Xavier University gathers 1M to help victims of Sendong

"Thanks to those who made monetary donations for the victims of Typhoon Sendong!" This was what the Crusader Publication of Xavier University wrote on this photo seen below.

Donations amounted to Php 1,118, 216. This is a milestone in Xavier University's history.

This just goes to show that Xavier University is really a university of "Men and Women for Others.

Pedro Calungsod soon to be St. Pedro Calungsod

The Vatican announced Tuesday that Blessed Pedro Calungsod of Cebu will be canonized as a saint for the Roman Catholic Church.

Once canonized, he will be the second Filipino Catholic saint following Saint Lorenzo Ruiz, who was elevated to sainthood in 1987.

Search and Rescue continues in Catastropic Cagayan de Oro City

As of 6 in the morning, four days after the devastation of typhoon Sendong (December 20), the search and rescue is still on going in CdeO City.

Combined efforts of the local government, police and the armed forces are still finding dead people in the nearby areas of Cagayan de Oro City.
