Cagayan de Oro Water District Notifies Cagayan de Oro Residents

According to the representative of the COWD, they need 31 days to rehabilitate the water system starting yesterday, December 17, 2011.

They enumerated the following areas, hydrants and public faucets in CdeO where free water is available:


West Area:  

• Julies bakeshop - Vamenta Blvd.
• Jollibee (Carmen)
• Calaanan Fire Hydrant - 24 hour  flow
• Production Well No. 14 in Balulang
• Unsure: Elipe Park Fire Hydrant
• Fire Hydrant near Golden Heritage, Carmen

East Area:

• Lapasan to Bugo Fire Hydrants
• Brgy. Lapasan Fire Hydrants
• Public Faucet near Mindanao University 
• Hydrant in the entrance of Capistrano Complex
• Fire Hydrant across Capitol University Medical City

The COWD applogizes for this situation and would like to extend their heart-felt sympathy to those affected.

Reminders: Please boil the water before drinking. The water system is unsure of good quality water since it was affected by the flood.
