Facebook, one of the leading social networking site introduced the Timeline.
What is Facebook Timeline?
According to gizmodo.com, it is a complete reconceptualization of your profile page. Here you can see your Facebook life on a single page. Cleanly done and streamlined for your convenience.
But as of the moment, some do not like the fact that you cannot upload photos to your timeline which are not "squares." Meaning, if you want to put you very long vertical photo, you will see a warning and you cannot upload that photo because it is not square....etc. There are many other things people do not like about the new Timeline.
Anyways, for those people who want the Timeline uninstalled, then here are the steps.
This is as of Nov. 2011. Updates will be posted when Facebook changes its layout, etc.
Follow the instructions carefully. Be sure you know your left and right. (^_^)
1. Login to Facebook. (If you are not logged in.)
2. Click on the arrow pointing down on the top right portion just beside Home.
3. Click Account Settings.
4. Then on the left part of the page you will see the following: General, Security, Notifications, Apps, Mobile, Payments, Facebook Ads.
5. Next, click Apps. You will then see a list of all the Apps you have installed.
6. Find the name of your Timeline Application. Remember, you have a unique name for the Timeline app you have previously created. Find it and click on Edit.
7. Then click Remove App. Click Remove and then Okay.
8. Click on your profile page and the Timeline is gone.
