ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID 2011 Launched

Manila, Philippines - At about 7 o'clock in the evening, ABS-CBN, a leading TV station in the Philippines, launched its current and latest station ID for the Yuletide season.

The song "Da Best Ang Pasko ng Pilipino" was sung by the Youtube Filipino sensation, Maria Aragon.

Commentary:

Some expected this Station ID as a lively one. Some even dubbed this as the best station ID made by the TV Network giant. But to my dismay it wasn't. My personal opinion, the chorus and refrain repeated like forever. I was annoyed by it. Personally, I liked how they presented the Filipinos all over the world and the presence of all their major stars, but I was really really annoyed. I was like saying to myself, "when will the chorus end?" I wanted to end it as soon as the chorus and refrain repeated. I don't blame Maria Aragon cause she has pure talent. I just felt that the song did not fit her. Or I was just really annoyed by the repetition.

Anyways, I am looking forward to the Christmas Station ID of GMA. I hope they reach the expectations of the Filipino viewers. Since they have "proclaimed" that they have increased their gross revenues.
